Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Nurture account and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to all users of the Nurture app, whether you signed up as a client or as a professional.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, you will lose access to your bookings, messages, wallet history, and any other content tied to your account.
✓How to request account deletion
Account deletion is self-service and happens immediately from inside the app:
- Open the Nurture app and log in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to your Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- In the confirmation dialog, tap Delete to confirm.
Your account and associated data are permanently deleted from our systems as soon as you confirm — there is no waiting period.
✓Can't log in?
If you no longer have access to the app or your account (for example, you're locked out), you can still request deletion by contacting us through the support option listed in the app, or through the contact details in our Privacy Policy. Please use the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request, and we will process it in a reasonable time.
What is deleted
Requesting deletion permanently removes:
- Your login credentials and authentication record.
- Profile information — name, photo, bio, location, credentials, availability, and pricing.
- Bookings and appointment history.
- Chat messages and call session records.
- Feed posts, comments, reactions, and stories.
- Reviews you wrote.
- AI scanner history — prompts, images, and results.
- Your Stripe connected-account link stored in our database.
What may be retained
A small amount of data can remain after deletion, for the reasons below:
- Payment and identity records held directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe retains this data under its own policies to meet legal, tax, and anti-fraud (KYC/AML) obligations, independent of our own database.
- Content shared with other users, such as messages in a chat thread or reviews written about you by someone else, may remain visible to that other person since it is part of their own record.
- Residual copies may briefly persist in encrypted backups until routine backup rotation purges them.
- Records we are legally required to keep for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes are retained only as long as the law requires.
For questions about account deletion or this process, contact the support address listed in the app settings or the contact section of our
Privacy Policy.
